About Rockingham Marina

Rockingham Marina deals exclusively with the best brands in the boating industry. After several years of research, we believe our brands are best in class for the inland lake boating of the East Tennessee area. Carefree Boat Club utilizes these brands exclusively at its Boone Lake and Watauga Lake locations. If your just getting started in your research for a new boat, we suggest you talk with us. We can discuss different styles of boats and which style is best for you. Also, an alternative to owning is the Carefree Boat Club. Educational information, about boating in general, is available at The Carefree Boater. You’ll find many articles there that will help you decide what kind of boating is going to best suit your family.

If you decide on ownership (versus rental or a boat club) and the sport boat aligns with your family, then we invite you to the marina where we can show you why our line of boats is equal or superior to Sea Ray, Bayliner, Crownline, Cobalt, Stingray, Bennington, Tracker, Tahoe, and the other inland lake boats. IF PRICE AND QUALITY IS IMPORTANT, TALK WITH US! We have a variety of Chaparral and Manitou boats located on the water at Rockingham Marina. This is where our dealership is different than Laurel Marina, Shadrack, and other competing dealerships. Our boats are literally on lifts at the marina or minutes away from being on the lake. We show you the real difference between a 4.3 liter 225 HP engine and a 5.0 liter 260 HP. We can show you the difference in performance of a single prop outdrive and a dual prop on the water. We don’t just tell you about the different performance characteristics – we SHOW you.

For pontoon boats, we selected Manitou. Manitou and their patented V-Toon technology provides speed and agility.  Bennington, Harris, and others may have tritoon models, but they don’t have the V-Toon technology like Manitou. What does this mean? Our patented V-Toon® Technology is more than just a third tube bolted to the deck. The V-Toon represents a decade of research and development into deciphering what the optimal position, shape, diameter, and differential needs to be in order to deliver an exceptional experience on the water.
